The Best Time and Safety for A Trip To Italy

Due to the large number of tourists who visit Italy, robberies are commonplace, especially in Rome (see hotels in Rome) and Naples. Take special care on trains and buses because they are areas where thieves abound.

We recommend that you always carry a photocopy of your passport, instead of the original document and be wary of counterfeit notes when changing money.

If you are interested in visiting Italy, we suggest that you do during the spring and fall. The summer is not recommended because the days are hot, many tourists and will have to stand in long queues to enter the various tourist sites.

Most areas of the peninsula have a Mediterranean climate, except those located in the north, the latter have a continental climate. If you are interested in skiing in the Alps, then we recommend that you do between December and March.

The Alps serve the function of a barrier against the winds from the North, so high rainfall recorded between 3 000 and 3 800 mm
