Roman Colosseum

When we think of visiting Rome immediately comes to mind the spectacular image of the Colosseum. A landmark of Roman culture and a flagship for tourism in the city that every tourist who visits Italy can not miss. Getting to know the Roman Colosseumis like stepping into our past and the origins of Western culture.

A little history
The Roman Colosseum is one of the 7 wonders of the world and was also known as the Flavian Amphitheater. The Colosseum takes its name from a statue located in the vicinity and that now is not preserved, the Colossus of Nero, and was built during the first century AD. It was one of the largest amphitheaters throughout the empire and has survived nearly two thousand years of history.
